Even though not a first team starter I thought Ben should have been one of the leadership group that Ange appointed.
I think he's definitely valued and respected inside the dressing room in anyways.
So has he played his last game for Spurs?

First class individual who has served the club well in multiple positions for many years, but as an Angeball CB at this stage of his career he's absolutely hopeless and we'd be mad to sign him to a new deal if indeed Ange is here to stay (or if any manager wants to play comparable high line tactics)

Just a bit sad that after 10 years he may just disappear. Perhaps something can be done in the pre season games.

Quite possible, and a good result for him and Wrexham I'd say.
Totally undervalued by so many fans. You can't have 20 odd superstars, just doesn't work like that. It's men like Ben Davies that keep everything going in the background. I'd say he's been fantastic in the dressing room in the tough times and a large part of why the kids like Archie and Lucas have settled well.

Again, like Ryan Mason like probably Sonny its the right time to go. Great servant, top pro and all that but just best for all concerned.
Agree you don't need 20 superstars but you can't have someone taking up a squad place because he's a good lad around the dressing room.
The likes of Milner and Henderson were similar characters but ALSO key figures in their respective successful teams.
"Ultra dependable" is very dubious at this stage. Sure, he's be okay against early FA Cup/ Europa League dross but next season we are in the Champions League. I don't want to see Ben Davies starting against any top 15 PL side or any CL side.
Why? .......He's not a Wrexham fan and is better than a newly promoted champo club.
