2) The ball was deflected ..was it his goal(despite it being on target lol)

3) He didn't get a touch on the ball so it doesnt count.

Just a reminder that Real Madrid fans have even booed Cristiano Ronaldo in the past. They're successful because they demand the very highest standards. Imo we should be looking to have more Kane/bale/berbatov/modric level players in our team.

Yeeeah, wouldn't that be nice. Those mentioned players were all bought as talented players who hadn't popped off yet (maybe Berbatov had already made a name for himself at Leverkusen). We are still going by same model but our recruitment just hasn't been great at all. Johnson and Richy are sitting at the high end of our spending at 50m, but none of them seem to have got what it takes

Yeah the idea fans are holding back the team by not being happy clappy enough is hilarious. None of the world’s elite teams would tolerate Johnson playing regularly. Their fans would revolt.

But we have fans who make it their personality to defend the indefensible and to be the best fans possible so we end up with takes about Brennan being as good as Saka just to win the Top Fan arms race.
