Do we say Frank can just sell any player he can't develop and be okay with it?
Would we be able to field a team if that were to happen?

It’s not a loss though in football accounting terms. We bought him for £47.5m two and a half years ago. His value has depreciated since then by almost half (book value is thus ~£24m). So in PSR terms we’re making a small profit of £11m).Only taking a £12m loss on a 24yr old with proven assist and scoring ability is almost good for us.
Thats all irrelevant. Its about goals and assists. So far he has 6 goal involvements in half a season being a starterAfter GW17 he was in the top 10 for take-ons, duels won, possession won, and assists.
He might not be playing that well on the eye, but on paper he's doing pretty well

Goals win games. Its that simple.Johnson scored lots of goals last season and still had detractors.
My point is that statistics tell only part of any picture.
We're missing the big picture. Who is going to go to darts with Maddison?

Surely though if he is surpass to requirements for the new manager , it’s not unfair to ask how we are intending to replace his goal contributions for the team? There were plenty of people moaning about BJ’s one dimensional play and lack of effort last season when he was contributing goals, so it’s hardly surprising we’re selling if he doesn’t fit the way the new manager wants to play.
Rather than moaning about the manager failing to develop him, we should be pleased he’s identified he’s not what we want and move him on whilst there’s still a decent value to him.
What we shouldn’t have done is spunk £50m on him in the first place.
I’m fucking amazed at this place sometimes. Do other teams forums argue about this too?
