Ex-Spurs Player Brennan Johnson

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

35m would be a Palace transfer record. That's not going on a back up.

Bournemouth are obviously replacing Semenyo.

Villa don't have a RW.

They spent a solid wedge on the likes of Nketiah lmao, he’s a home grown player who is available in Jan. Just because he’s 35m (they’re flush after Eze) doesn’t mean he starts - he’s no better than Sarr.

Bournemouth might be .. on a much worse player out of desperation to keep themselves up. Doesn’t mean he’s good or we’d want him.

Guarantee if he goes to Villa he doesn’t play every week, and he would always be the least effective attacker .. not the one we’d be looking enviously at.

I don't think we should sell him to Villa.

I think we will look like cunts if we do.

Off the bench he will be good in that side.

Cash will keep the door behind him shut.

That needs a source dude. Wouldbt surprise me if he’d rather sit on his arse here but he ain’t getting a better move than that.

With Villa, Everton, Brentford, BMuff also mooted I could well imagine he's in no rush to jump at the first club that we agree a fee with......

The first 2 are both above CP in the table, offer more managerial stability and presumably pay more.

Was told he was a game changer.

Now he’s a game changer if we have a good LW.

Then it’ll be he needs a better RB behind him.

Than better strikers to aim for.

Then a better LB to support the LW.

He’s maybe just not that good.

He would have got two assists against Palace if other players could stay onside and he's one of the highest in assisters this season regardless.

Kudus isn't Mo Salah but he is easily our best attacker right now. In an ideal world Kudus would be one of 6 or 7 attackers we have, not the only threat, but the reality is for us right now, he pretty much is.

Yep. Decent for a mid table club. Same as the others in the squad that will help us maintain that position but go no further upwards.

Bit like Johnson really.

Have you seen the assists Kudos has gotten credit for this season?

2 vs Burnley were Richy worldies
2 vs Brighton - scuffed shot Richy taps in. Cross that lead to an OG
Assist vs Leeds is where he played in Tel's deflected goal

Hardly been a chance creator or has shown any real end product. But hey, those step overs and hold up play!

Think it's ok to say he's been disappointing and we expected more.

Crystal Palace are now confident that Brennan Johnson will be at the club in time for their match against Newcastle on Sunday. The 24-year-old is expected to have a medical over the next 24 hours and the deal will be for about £35m.

Good luck to Brennan. Bilbao is a nice legacy for him.

And it’s great to see the club acknowledging that players need to be moved on if the manager doesn’t fancy them. Hopeful this is something that they have learnt needs to be the norm.

Leads me to believe Frank is going to be given a bit of time and money to mould his own squad too.

If Kudus is still our so-called best attacker in 12 month's time, we will have failed to progress one iota, in my opinion.

Much like Johnson is clearly unfavoured by Frank, I think other managers would look at Kudus, and decide quite quickly that they want to upgrade.
