They said they were happy to be signing him as some sort of inside 10 or some such modern day bullshit. It’s nonsense. He’s not a player who wants to get on the ball and dominate games, he doesn’t want to dribble and run at players to beat them. We know what he is but everyone did a number on palace. I couldn't believe the mass whinging by the fanbase about selling that utter donkey when we did. It was so so obvious the guy is a truly terrible footballer, yet people acted like it was a mistake to sell him. Mental. We actually got so lucky we had a PL club come in for him with a decent offer.
