Like I stated at the start of the season. We'll win some lose some and be average. Beat the shit soon as we play a team that can put away the chances we cough up we'll get done like today. This is when my point about being clinical when on top comes to the fore. Get the third goal in the first half that probably doesn't happen. Johnson, maddison, kulu and the rest all wasteful and soft as shit as soon as we get put under any sort of pressure.7th- 10th is about right for us with this manger these players and these tactics. It's who we are mate.

You shouldn't have to score 3/4 to win a match.
Ange will have to address how we play/defend soon or he will be looking for a new job imo. I can see the players are still with him at this point but a few more results like today and things could get really bad

If ever there was a performance that demanded the hairdryer this is it!

I hope he really chews them out for that complacency.

That match has given me a blinding headache! 😞

From 135 minutes of the best football we've played this season to 45 minutes of the worst.

No one can legislate for Udogie gifting them a goal with a ridiculous piece of defending but for that nervousness to spread and infect the entire back four - VDV and Cuti in particular - is so so disappointing. None of them won a contest in that period. Everyone wanted someone else to save the day.

Just when you think Cuti and Maddison are going to step it up - their lack of response in that second half is just so so dispiriting. Everyone's heads dropped.

Bitter, bitter way to go into the break. We can take the loss but the manner of it breaks trust.

100% agree. When even VDV is stumbling around and getting bullied it’s alarming to watch.

He was probably shell shocked watching all 11 of his players go from world beaters to pub players in the space of 5 minutes

This result has nothing to do with Ange and everything to do with the players
Ange is the manager mate, part of being a manager is instilling belief and fixing mentality issues; It's also knowing how to manage a game and when to make subs to prevent a bad situation turning into an unmanageable one.

The last person that should be "shell shocked" should be Ange, he should be calm and ready for any scenario, that's what a manager and leader should be capable of, otherwise what's the point?

Second half we didn't just get unlucky or have a few players shit the bed, it was a complete and utter collapse and I am sorry, you can put that entirely on the players but Ange can't take the credit when we win but avoid blame when we decide to be completely unprofessional.
