Been a big Jose believer, but I think even I will of had it if he starts Lucas and Bergwijn with Son upfront today. The 2 most ineffective players on the planet. He has to start Vinicius in place of Kane. If not, then he plays Bale instead. If he plays Bergwijn and Lucas together I am going to be so pissed off.
When Harry was injured last season that was JM's favourite "front three" with Dele behind.

I’m excited for today. I think we will see a big response from the team. No Kane to bail them out, no Kane to sit back and let make the plays so others will step up.

I fully expect we smash Brighton today.

Brighton and Chelsea both play 3 at the back. So I do wonder if we'll aim to match both in our next 2 games.

And we have won 2 against Championship sides, one against non-league side. Does that make us good?

Everyone knows beating Sheff Utd, Wycombe, Marine and Brentford means WE ARE BACK.

Though it WILL be interesting to see how we do without Kane in the league.

I've suspected that we've been rather predictable for months now as we just aim to get Kane dropping deep and creating over the top for Son etc. and ever since Chelsea kept Kane quiet by simply man marking him, our league form as we all know has been terrible.

I don't think anyone in our team is capable of playing up top, dropping deep and creating so it could mean actually finding a way to play football.

Best tactic is to find a new scapegoat.

Someone good enough that we can push the narrative they're not living up to hype or being lazy/ignoring instructions. But not so good that we actually anger an important player.

I say Winks. We can pretend we have no choice and are forced to start him due to injuries to Kane (loss of our best defender you could say) warranting putting in another dm for protection.

He's also divisive so it will work perfectly.

Can't see any outcome other than a win personally. Maybe not a smashing, but what's left of Spurs should still have too much for a very poor PL side.
