Romero has replaced Toby and that so far is the only outfield changes to a squad that was not good enough last season. Both players are going to have to fit in quickly if we are to have any chance of a better season.

Gil just cost us 25 mil, and if he develops nicely, he will be worth lot more in the future.
Bale cost us more than 15 mil for the season. 100% cost and no further value.
I would assume that Gil, Moura etc are good enough to score against semi-pro teams in ECL. Cause Bale against big boys was utterly useless. We have to move forward not looking into rear-view mirror.
