But you've conveniently shrunk the BIg 6 down to the Big 5 to try and fit your narrative, and we have one of the biggest fan bases in the country.

Remember City away earlier this season? Simon Hooper blew his whistle for a free kick instead of playing an obvious advantage that would have led to a City winner. One of the most awful decisions of the season.
We weren't crying conspiracy or bias then, as I can remember.

What about the plethora of dubious decisions that went our way at home to Liverpool? We loved it and royally took the piss.

This is nothing short of paranoia, mate. Hysterical paranoia that someone else has to be responsible for our own shortcomings. And we mockingly call Liverpool "Victims FC"

Every club will have a section of fans convinced the officials are biased against them.

This constant blame shifting and victimisation is becoming embarrassing. I'm embarrassed myself that I've even got myself involved in the debate
You make some good points, but you're far too sure of yourself and haven't really addressed my concerns, more just a strawman of the 'hysterical paranoids'.

I don't think it's anti-spurs, just pro-narrative/agenda/bias/whatever. And yes, of course we're bigger than some others, but we clearly aren't the media darlings, either.

I didn't conveniently shift big 6 to big 5, I'm talking about US. I don't care if we get a bit of luck from bad refereeing once in a while. Yes, it's hypocritical, but I would feel bad if we were gaining more than we lost, as that's not winning fair and there's no point to that. I do remember occasions where we get some go our way, but it feels few and far between. The complaint here is that it's more often against us in particular games than for us. Are you happy with the refereeing in the Woolwich game? You shouldn't be.

I'm not hysterical, but sure, maybe a little paranoid. At some point, unless proven otherwise everyone on the side of 'is it just me?' seems that way. But believe me, I loudly and often blame plenty on us: our owners, our management and our players. We just don't need anyone else making it harder!

"Every club"? Are you sure? Liverpool and Manu? I suppose it depends when you ask. And that's not a refutation, btw, they can of course all think that. It does not, as with us, mean they are right.

RE: Liverpool: Plethora? There was only one dubious decision in the Liverpool game (Diaz goal should have stood, it was a massive mistake - and no, we didn't cry conspiracy because nobody would have heard us over scouse screaming). They rightly saw those 2 reds. Everything else was Klopp throwing toys out.

RE: City: Yep, agree, it was awful decision, but you can see it was n obvious mistake and he apologised, IIRC. Also, everyone went batshit crazy over it.

But, let's end this as we can't agree. So, I acknowledge that I, as a human, am prone to cognitive bias and often find it difficult to be impartial and balanced with regards to bad referring against Spurs. It drives me nuts and I just want them to do their job consistently and well, not matter the occasion or the clubs involved.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) I won't be able to watch this.
Although history dictates otherwise, here's hoping we can get a result against this shower of cheats.

Finding it difficult after recent games to get any enthusiasm to watching this. Chelsea injuries, they could put their kids out and we would not win this fixture. 1 win in 33 seasons! Then we get away to Liverpool where our record is equally depressing. I only watched 39 mins Sunday and will stop watching when all hope has gone.
we really need to sort out the blocking of our GK at corners. The nearest Spurs player must immediately intervene. Refs get fed up with sorting out pushing and shoving prior to corners but it often results in the ref giving the defending team a FK. It would help if we try and avoid conceding so many corners.

Tottenham, Dr Tottenham, he’s the worst bastard in history, from the North of London, he’s about to fuck us absolutely!

(You need to sing it like Homer).
