Very good player and delighted we still have him but I can't honestly see him ever being quite good enough for a big money move to someone like barca

Ditto. Feels like forever that they've been talking about it - hope it's just around the corner.
If that were to happen, I'd reluctantly take Marco Reus or Bale back, I suppose...Just to get the discussion going a bit, if Eriksen winds up not signing a new contract, who would you like to see take his place?

Every single time I look at your profile pic I wonder if you've been kidnapped and you need help.
Who says I'm the one that got kidnapped, and not on the other side of the camera?Every single time I look at your profile pic I wonder if you've been kidnapped and you need help.

Meh. It was a photo I had on my phone from a little while before I joined the forum. Thought is was the most appropriate 'bit of face concealed' picture, so went with it.Every time I look at yours I wonder how much you were paid to look like Minnie Mouse :townhmm:
I agree though, I don't get the whole "tape over mouth/eyes" thing.

Would have been that or Bowie. Feels too late to go back now.

Just felt like it was appropriate for a forum. Next time I'll stick to Bowie/Gosling.

In fairness, I am in the minority when it comes to putting my actual face as a profile picture.
:eriksenlol:
Eriksen has really stepped it up since the turn of the year. Work rate, creativity, finishing have all gone up a notch and he's back to being one of our most important players. I have no doubt the competition in attack is contributing as there was a point where he got dropped, think it was the Watford game.
He is just what we need in games like yesterday and I'm excited to see how he does from now until the end of the season. Can't wait for confirmation of that new deal too.
Which begs the questions, given our form since the turn of the year, is Eriksen quietly becoming our most important player?

You can't watch us play then. But I knew that already.No.
Kane, Lloris, Toby and Dier all come before him.
Said it before and I'll say it again. Eriksen plays for half a season.
Yet he and Dier have started every match under Poch, the ONLY players to do so.No.

People who don't get Eriksen's value to our team should really start watching other sports.Yet he and Dier have started every match under Poch, the ONLY players to do so.
I get that he can frustrate at times, he his weak in the tackle etc but when he finds the space he invariably creates. His work rate is endless, which might mean he is not on the ball as often he would like but just like the rest of the team we win our games by what we do off the ball.People who don't get Eriksen's value to our team should really start watching other sports.
It's a great question. I could probably make an argument for about 5 or 6 different players being our most important---including Eriksen. It really highlights the quality we have all over the pitch. It would actually make a good stand alone thread because I think there would be a wide array of opinion.Which begs the questions, given our form since the turn of the year, is Eriksen quietly becoming our most important player?
Fuck off, they're a team.No.
