Back in the mid-late 90s I absolutely loved Guardiola as a player. He was astonishing, way better than Xavi I'd say, one of the all time great central midfielders. When he left FCB I was praying he came to us, I saw him as the new Ossie.

The turnaround is astonishing, I can't think of an equivalent. As a manager I thought yeah, really good, but he's fortunate with the clubs he gets, he's no Brian Clough. My profound dislike started with his Spainophobia/Madridophobia, calling Spain a "police state", his fucking hypocrisy when he was taking tens of millions from an actual slave state.

Then the "Harry Kane club" shit. I don't remember any manager, however dislikeable, saying something so directly insulting. Whatever you might think of Wenger or Ferguson, for example, they would never have said the half of that in a million years. Nor Klopp, nor any manager ever in Spain, even given the hatred between Madrid-FCB-Atleti or Betis-Sevilla...

And now this.

Vile fucking cunt. I know a totally unfounded rumour about him from a completely unreliable failed wannabe journo source, wanna hear it?

Haha, OK. I repeat, it's a totally unfounded rumour about him from a completely unreliable failed wannabe hack. We were both a bit pissed. The fella was a bit of a prat. Anyhoooo...

He reckoned that when Guardiola announced he was leaving the team of his soul in 2001 at the age of 30 - he was only ever-so slightly past his best but he was still a truly awesome player - it was because he'd got a reputation in the Barça changing room as a *ahem* willy-watcher.

Remember, he went to a no-mark club like Brescia, for whom he played only 24 games (11 and 13 in two spells, with five for Roma in the middle of that period) before fucking off to Qatar two years later.

They - we -knew. We all knew

:dierno:

Don't shoot me etc... Blue and yellow (one for the old-school ITK aficionados there!)

Let's look at this rationally, Pep.

You are sponsored by yourselves. At rates which are massively above the market average. Enabling you to be more commercially viable than United, Real Madrid, Liverpool.

That alone sets off alarm bells, before the other 100 charges. 😂

One way to clip their wings (and any other team trying to financially dope) would be for the PL to ban any sponsorship by businesses owned by or linked to (whether familial or through business) any of the executives / non-exec board within the club. The sponsor should be a wholly independent entity.

Isn't that pet of the problem though? Shell companies within shell companies.

This is a genuinely genuinely unlikeable human being. He is a walking turd in a cardigan
It's actually quite clear to me that he using this as his drawbridge. He's already criticised the support this season (and he's not wrong about too). His team is flat as a pancake and he's also alluded to this too, post-match after they beat us he was pissed.

This is going to go on for years, by the time the verdict is called I seriously doubt he will be there. So, he can use this to his advantage to whip up his players and fanbase, many of them already love what he said, even supporters that I would call the smart ones who I follow seem pumped up by his words.

If he's clever he can also use this situation as his exit strategy too. If there's no response from the team and they remain flat etc he can blame it as a distraction, or even if the defence of the charges looks weak then he can take the morel high ground and walk saying they lied to him.

But the one thing that's happening is the mask if it hasn't already slipped (he's made loads of contradictions in the past) then it's now well and truly falling off now.

Finally, Sky Sports are catching up with what the narrative should be.........................

This report above is now more in line with the Delany piece I posted a day or so ago. This is about dishonesty, about fraud.
