Scousers, unattended gates, etc.....

Begins with H, ends in illsborough....
Its a joke about Scallywag Scousers at the gates of Heaven. Standard format, St Peter attending and dealing with new arrivals. To associate it with, Hillsborough is nonsense. You dont want to be as bad as them, taking every oppertunity to raise the subject.
Its a simple joke.please.

Maybe it's because they didn't have to endure years of slights and fight for justice for members of their family that were killed?

A lot of people agreed with my original post, and you are right the people involved did have to wait for years and finally they have justice, you know I don't mean the people directly involved with Hillsborough

Come on its me here not some wanker, it's the half a million Liverpudlians that keep going with it with continuous rememberances and this latest example of the curriculum, let it rest so the actual families of those involved can go forward and try to live the rest of their lives

Told this joke yedterday...
Two Scouser scallywags die and go to heaven. When they arrive at the Pearly gates, they ask peter if they can come in? Peter says, I'll need to go and ask God. Off Peter goes to ask....on his return they are gone. He runs back to God shouting, THEY ARE GONE, THEY ARE GONE. God replies, the scoucers. Peters says no, the gates....
you told that? did you die on your arse?

Wasn't having a go. Was actually complimenting you on the fact it could have ended differently and not as nicely.

Having to explain simple things like this isn't that easy....

I despite Livepool fans. But I actually think it would be good if it were taught in schools, so long as it is with a focus that this is one of many injustices where the establishment demonize and discredit the victims to avoid justice being done, and/or for personal gain at their expense. Hillsborough is just one of many such cases in our society most of which are still not out in the open and corrected. Really it is only because of the popularity of football that it has eventually come out what really happened.

Believe me, when you find yourself in a situation where someone does something to ruin or end your life or that of a loved one and then in an attempt to cover up what they have done, blames you for it and destroys you further (with the media and everyone else in the country buying it and jumping on to blame you for it too) you really start to see the problem. I'm not going into the details of my situation but I am one of a hundreds of thousands in my very position and the country does fuck all about it because they've been misled. We must find ways to teach people to think and not be so easily manipulated by the establishment and media, else the future just includes more such injustices, so maybe this is a good example that can be used to educate people and save more people going through shit like this.

This is all the Liverpool FC site has to say about Heysel:

On May 29, 1985, defending European Champions Liverpool and Cup Winners Cup holders Juventus were to meet at the Heysel Stadium, Brussels, in the 30th European Cup Final.

The events that took place before kick-off in Block Z of the stadium turned the dream final into a nightmare: thirty-nine fans - mostly Juventus supporters - tragically lost their lives and hundreds more were injured.

May 29 will forever be a day of solemn remembrance for Liverpool FC, Juventus FC and the entire football family.

Can't seem to find 'fault', 'blame', 'regret' or 'apologise' in there. Maybe it's a word search.

So a gooner arrives at the pearly gates wearing a scum shirt, and starts to look worried when he sees Saint Peter wearing a Spurs shirt.

St Peter says "you can fuck off - no gooners"

"But I'm a good man - I want to come in"

"You heard me - no scum, now do one"

"But I've done good things - please let me in"

St Peter looks at the cunt and says "what good things?"

"Well I gave £10 to the tsunami fund"

"Fuck off mate, that's not good enough, you're having a laugh"

"Wait, wait - l gave £10 to the Nepal earthquake fund"

St Peter leans in, smelling his fear. "Is that it?"

"No, no, wait. I gave £10 to Princess Diana's memorial fund, please let me in"

"Ok, ok, I'll go and have a word with God, but don't get your hopes up"

Anyway St Peter disappears for 10 minutes and when he returns the gooner scum is close to tears.

"What did God say - can I come in?"

"Well I pleaded your case, but I'm afraid that he agrees with me, so here's your 30 quid back, now fuck off"

Boom and again - boom. :dierno:

'Mostly Juventus supporters', they are disgraceful.

One commenter described it as 'council estate'.
Liverpool confident Anfield work will be finished for Burnley clash

It's meant to end up looking like this so maybe that pic of work in progress is misleading.
Latest updates and news on Liverpool FC's new Main Stand at Anfield.

Nope...still abhorrent. An insult to modern design and engineering. Butchered piece of architecture there, zero cohesion. Looks like they built a classic brick and mortar building, then retrospectively realized they needed a roof and tacked on some shit tin they collected off the curb. I've seen some ugly failed architecture in my life, but in general the design reflected that the designers were planning something.

That just looks like...well...failure. Good luck finding someone to front £90m to stick their name on that steaming pile of feces....

Jesus Christ it's going to go on for another 100 years isn't it? The sheer enjoyment they seem to take from discussing it ENDLESSLY even after closure is disturbing, they hang onto it with everything they have

Tell you what put Heysel in the curriculum too, yeah thought not

Scouse wankers
But you can't have one without the other. Had Heysel not happened fans would have been treated more humanely at the stadiums etc. They would have also had much more sympathy post incident which would have stopped the "official" version gaining traction even with MacKenzie's "reporting". Heysel led to the police/media reactions of the late 80's/early 90's.
So are the dippers happy to teach the murder of the Juve fans that night?
