These twats.

Coming up to 9 games you can look at the league and start saying things like title aspirations.

Half way mark of 19 games it’s fair to say someone are title contenders when near the top. (Within 3-4 points for sure).

After 28 games if you are top and then drop off by a couple of places then it’s fair to say you have “bottled it”.

The way some in the media are talking it’s like woolwich are at game 35 and looking like the title is almost theirs. Laughable.

Personally I’m waiting till MW 19 to see where the league really sits this season. Top and bottom. Until this have to try to block out all this noise. Media blackout required.

Thank fuck for hindsight.

Media will say they didn’t bottle it. The truth is out there.

I should add that the one half n half scarf I have is Spurs and Brighton. From the opening of their stadium. Heard it might be chilly tomorrow. I better wrap up.

Yeah, Morgan does have that stopped clock syndrome where he very occasionally is accidentally right.

Oh, and fuck all that 'pushed one of the best teams all the way' bollocks: City weren't even at their 100-point breaking best this season - they took a while to get going which should have opened the door for the scum.

Tbf I think City are still on course for 94 points. Which I'll hold my hands up: I didn't see coming. When they lost to us they looked limp, felt like they were having a year where the motivation levels had dipped (similar to season Liverpool won it) and that Woolwich had a free run at it. Since then they've been a juggernaut.

Glad I was wrong. But on top of that, absolutely a bottle job from Woolwich - they're 12th in the form table FFS. As soon as the race heated up and City weren't giving ground, the panic set in. They were in a genuinely incredible position at one point & have had only 1 game a week to focus on. They royally fucked it.

If Woolwich didn't bottle it, why were they so mad at Neville for saying that they weren't good enough to win the title?

I'm curious to see how they try and spin it that it wasn't the biggest bottle in PL history. They'll never live this down.

Best part it isn't the dippers fluking a title too. It's the oilers which doesn't really mean anything as they don't have any fans.

It has been a rare beacon in this otherwise fucked season. Just need the rapist to go to jail and justice will truly be served.
