One of the thing that always astounds me about them is that they're all so desperate that they always fall into the trap of believing their own bullshit.
Social-Media FC is such a perfect description of them and their superficiality. They're just absolutely desperate to be hot shit again and will keep telling themselves that they're so much better than they are, as if repeating it will make it true.
Arteta is going to show his ass again when he struggles with managing European ties in mid-week. This past weekend was just a taste. It's going to get toxic again very quickly as they slowly wake up to the fact that last season was a transitional one in which everyone barring Man City were just a bit crap. Last season was their Leicester opportunity, and they face-planted at the final hurdle.
