Club Come here to laugh at Gooners

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Their trophy parade today will be so perfectly Woolwich. Hollow, performative, rehearsed, and covering up an internal worry they are all too worried about vocalizing. Remember most of these grew up on Wenger they know what attacking football actually feels like. But Arteta has successfully gaslit the fanbase into believing everything they do is elite and any questioning of it is met with ruthless pushback so as to not rock the boat. They’re all competing to be the “Top Gooner” in the positivity Olympics even as trophy after trophy goes begging.

It really is a cult.

I normally keep this sort of thing private, but this was me and my home boys and bitches immediately after Gabriel missed last night.

I was very worried before the shoot out as I felt that PSG keeper was fairly rubbish and had the look of a fellow who if he was still playing wouldn’t have saved a penalty. I was convinced Raya would save more. I was correct on that front but thankfully he didn’t have to save any.

First golden rule in a shootout. If the opposition keeper is not too hot, at least keep your penalties on target.

Is this correct between 2006 champions league final & 2026 champions league final goons have only lost 1 game in open play 90minutes final v Barcelona……..28 games! Oh well

Maybe I'm a different Spurs fan than many, but when English players, or English teams play in important matches, I support them. I also supported Woolwich tonight against PSG. I support all English teams in international matches. I also cheer on Man C, Man U……… and Woolwich players when they play for England. I think there are bit too many haughty comments against Woolwich tonight though. I wish all English teams success, including Woolwich. But in the Premier League they are my worst opponents, but that's something else IMO
You aren't from England, are you?

The season ended in the best possible way. Woolwich won the league, but then lost the biggest game of their lives in gut wrenching fashion.

It's now tainted their season and the overriding emotion will be disappointment.

There is no other possible scenario in which Woolwich can win a league title yet feel gutted going into the summer. The only way is for them to have got into the CL final and then lost, so for that we must be thankful.

Now I know what 'Doing The Quadruple" means. It's conceding 4 in a penalty shootout and only scoring 3, isn't it?

Hope WE never do The Quadruple.

I was about to ask when the excuses and "poor us, we're so hard done by" comments would start.

Cundy was comedy gold last night. Had a gooner saying they couldn't break us down. Cundy clapped and said well done you won the couldn't break us down trophy.😃
The only time I find a Chavs fan funny.

Honestly, adults crying over things like this I will watch all day, I never like seeing kids cry, even Gooner ones.
