In terms of Woolwich winning the league. This has gone as good as it possibly could.
Manager - Hated by everyone, not just Spurs.
Players - 90% hated by everyone, not just Spurs
Style of play - Hated by everyone, even the media.
Refs - Love them but even the post season article shows missed calls helped them. Tarnishing the win.
Then you add in losing the CL and having literally everyone taking the piss on them. The embarrassment of a display.
Gabriel missing the pen.
Saka missing the entire game.
6-7 other major story lines hitting the new cycle as seasons end so nobody even talked about their win.
Honestly, not a bad experience at all for me. I expected it to be much, much worse.
