The narrative (they push out into the press) would be a different new period, one that will reflect a "lower wage bill", "increased revenue" Lukaku being valued at £60m blah, blah.....All turned out to be utter bollocks as per the narrative pushed last season that their wage bill is now dramatically reduced when in reality increased to £401m (the highest % increase of any Club, 2nd highest wage bill in the PL).
Without any European football next season, with stadium revenues maxed out, yet another multi-million managerial payout and another paid to Leicester in comp, with existing losses at £2m per week, the financial hole only gets bigger.
Can't for PL to pull their finger out of their arses and charge them for the gangster years or corruption and fraud, legal fees fighting that alone will add to the deficit not to mention the pending legal claims from rival clubs for lost revenue to follow.
There absolutely needs to be some transparency from the PL in the form of a statement that at least communicates that things are being looked into and details what those are and what the timescales are for the matter to be heard.
