Hug your loved ones, hug your pets and thank your god or fate that you're not West Ham

Apparently one west ham supporting journo who isnt in GSBs pocket has been on Holiday. So lets just say,the press should be interesting for the next few days.I might break my pledge and buy the sun Saturday to read the Edmonton growlers column, see how she tries to extract her and her "brand" out of this one...No, i'll read it on line:)

^ Well admittedly I didn't pull out the calculator or anything, but how sustainable is that? They made more money because they sold players (and in particular Payet), as well as their ground. Otherwise increased expenses ate away at the revenue that every club gets through the TV deal and the league? I mean sure...maybe that's amazing in the shorter term because the financials don't look terrible for now. What happens when you have nothing left to sell?

Agree. TV money is by and large evenly spread, so that's every club in the PL taking an almost similar increase in revenue. It is still quite astonishing that they have the 8th highest revenue in the PL, only beaten by Leicester who had CL football giving them approx £40m bump. Yet year in year out they fight off relegation or go down.
