The club that just keeps giving ... Their owners meet with Andy and Cass to pay them off to stop last seasons protests, that was a meeting in Sullivan's own house with the ever so slightly right wing ICF, the same ICF who's website recently posted "All your left wing f***s you ain’t passing through our manor, the ICF won’t allow it don’t cross us” ... we are then told that they employ a lad who's ex-ICF a fact that with even basic due-diligence they couldn't fail to be aware off, nothing wrong with that ... however once the media get upset that this lad has attended a perfectly legal DFLA march, they suspend the guy. Now whilst there might have been a bunch of right wing thugs at that march there were zero arrests and as far as we know the West Ham lad did nothing illegal ...

Love the double-standards ... what a fucked up bunch of dildo's they are ....:pochrolleyes:

You couldn't make this shit up could you? Brady has a sit-down with the ICF old school (who are also one of the main the driving forces behind the FLA/DFLA) & uses them to put the frighteners on West Ham fans who want to protest against GSB. They then ban a fella who is ex-ICF for going on an DFLA march.

Yet another WHU cluster-fuck.

Tony Henry said they don’t want to sign anymore Africans as they cause Mayhem. Banned the signing of them as theyball had bad attitudes.

“it’s just we had problems with Sakho. When they don’t get in the first team they cause mayhem. It’s nothing against the African race at all”
These blokes have a real misunderstanding of the term racist. Tarring everyone with the same brush becuase of the actions of a few, or even one.

Put into context of a Headmaster who refused to take kids of a certain race/colour/ religion because one of them caused mayhem selling drugs, robbing or fighting before.
Nothing to do with the race/ colour/ religion at all though.

Banned for 12 month Tony Henry.

Then you have another youth coach going on a March that, in reality, is a anti Muslim group.
Wrap it up in any name you like,
Especially when one of its founding members Andy Swallow is in with Sullivan and WHUFC and is West Ham ICF.
Remember his antifa threat, all the skullduggery around being paid off that March?

Against extremism of any kind, but it’s all about Migrants,Grooimg ( by Muslims) , returning jihadists etc. ....All extremism though.
Wearing make Britain Great Again caps.
The cunt who founded them and collected as a charity and resigned under dubious circumstances (poppy appeal) around that is a Spurs fan.
What an embarrassment.

They are the same as the EDL, but undercover. A bit cleverer. Heard by not seen if you like.
They Parade a Sikh around Mr Singh as evidence of all races coming together.

His fear around Islam probably linked to his ancestry/ history in India.

The culture is ingrained in their club.

Despite the new running track popcorn eating PR image they are trying to spin to fill those empty seats with day trippers. But why would they bother with the half hour walk from the station when they can just get tickets for the library on general sale?

Similar starts, apparently. We must be in deep shit.

  • West Ham's return of seven points from their opening nine games of the season is their worst return at this stage since 2010-11 when they finished bottom.

Whereas:

Tottenham's return of twenty-one points from their opening nine games of the season is their best return at this stage ever in Premier League history and their best start to any season since 1960/1961.

Glen Hoddle's contract was paid up in full ... Sam left by mutual agreement with one year's salary for 67 days work ... if West Ham get rid of Mark Phillips it will probably be with a big pay-off ....

The lad went to a legal march, he holds some repulsive personal beliefs, but as far as we know he's committed no crimes ... when we have to start standing trial in front of the 'thought-police' we're all fucked ....

I generally support anything that spits in West Ham's cornflakes but this seems like a chance to talk about something interesting the concept of "soft tyranny". There seems to be a modern equivalent of the thought police but they are more corporate than governmental. If you express a view the corporations don't like you face a significant economic penalty.

"You have free speech but you do not have freedom from the consequences of this speech" is the gist of the explanation you hear from people in favor of the world view this soft tyranny enforces. You are free to say what you like we are free to rip your career out from under you and make you a social pariah if your speech demonstrates thought crime. It may not be as scary as the government arresting you in the middle of the night but it is effective at suppressing free speech.

Especially in a world where most people have significant debts and financial obligations. You can't really trust a journalist with a mortgage they will not speak truth if those in power don't like it. People who make their living with words are probably the most vulnerable to this soft tyranny and gagging the people who should be able to most accurately express unpopular views hamstrings that kind of political discussion. Under the current system only people who are willing to pack in their jobs and go and dig ditches have true freedom of speech. Most people won't and in practical terms can't do this so free speech is effectively suppressed.

Even if you are willing to pay the economic penalty you may struggle to find a platform. If you express a view that Twitter, Google, Facebook and their algorithms don't like you can quickly find yourself without access to a large part of the internet in theory these companies do not control the internet but they do control the only parts of the internet that the vast majority of people really use so in practice they control the internet.

In order to truly have free speech you have to be willing to let people say things you disagree with, then clearly and accurately explain why they are wrong. Gagging someone doesn't prove them wrong. It suggests you are afraid of what they have to say and in a way this gives what they are trying to say more significance.

I am pretty much a nihilist now and I think racism is not only morally bad it is practically stupid. If you assume people will do wrong by you based on appearance you kind of have to assume people will do right by you based on appearance and if you do that you don't understand humans and you are in for a really tough time.

And still people complain. What an entitled bunch we’ve become.
This.
This is so true.
I even found myself pissed off about unnecessarily conceding last season.
It’s only been 3 yrs of not losing often, having some great results and finishing in CL.
Imagine if we actually win the fucking league.

Imagine if we actually win the fucking league.

“Not enough clean sheets, defensive overhaul required”

“Too many games we scraped through 1-0, including that 14 game winning streak, who are we, fucking invincible gooners?”

“Need a lot more 5 or 6 nil pummellings to really be up there with the best”

I know. It's fucking irritating. Half the fuckers moaning all the time probably didn't support us in the 90's etc. Our best fucking start, points wise, to a season in the PL, and all some do is whinge. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
For most of those it doesn't matter what happens during the season, this season is a bust because we didnt spend big in the summer. Transfers and sexy names trump football and results. And being right trumps all.
