And there are people here that wanted us to go there.
Wanted. Not accepted we might. Actually WANTED us to move there. Wanted us to do thing we've lampooned Woolwich over for 100 years.

There were indeed, but remember Levy said in our proposal "The Olympic Stadium is unfit for top flight football, we would remove it entirely and build a multi-use stadium designed around football" ... silly feckers with their caravans didn't listen .... zero sympathy for the Spammers just a lot of fun at their expense.

The location, the walk would have been completely different if at the end off it you came to 60,000 stadium we owned and was 'Spurs' from top to bottom, it's the soulless rented running track that's the real problem, that and a shit football team.

All that being said we know now that we were never moving, even in the midst of all the smoke and mirrors around the fictional OS bid the club and it's associates were busy buying up half of N17 ..... Levy just trolled them (and us) and thank heaven for that.

disagree..the feeling that your not wanted there, the diversions, the feeling that you are an add on to a shopping centre, the lack of feeling would all be the same. how shiny the stadium at the end may lessen it, but it would never erase it...

Don't disagree with that , however good the stadium is you aren't going to change the fact that you are effectively an unwanted guest on the grounds of a fucking shopping centre and that is going to impact your pre/post match experience for the majority of traditional football fans negatively.

All I'm saying is our situation had we moved there would have been incomparable with the situation they find themselves in for the most part.

Even if You sing your players wont here you ask juva you dumb.

To be fair if we'd have moved to Stratford and won a Premier League title then it would have eased the passing of WHL massively , i think it's also not necessarily moving but where you move that's the issue here, the problem that West Ham have is they have no control over anything outside of the stadium and absolutely nothing there is absolutely West Ham everything there is generic and most of it doesn't even want go lend itself to West Ham even on matchdays.

To be in West Ham’s situation even for a title, no thanks!

If Levy had of moved us to Stratford it would have been over, I would have viewed him how West Ham fans view GSB, it would have been a total disgrace.

I do hope it was just political manoeuvring to get the redevelopment of WHL done. It still shocked me how poorly West Ham fans provided opposition to the move, it was obvious it was going to be a disaster.

I can't help it, but I do feel sorry for some of their supporters (the ones that I know, who have been Spammers all their life and don't hate us!). It must be devastating to see the destruction of your football club, piece by piece. Having said that, the majority of their supporters are racist, knuckle-dragging neanderthals who detest us, so I would be delighted if they go down.

I still believe that the bid only went in when Haringey council started to mess us around.

“ it was just political manoeuvring to get the redevelopment of WHL done”
Absolutely that, and although Daniel Levy also spent a couple of million on lawyers, the submitted legal documents were all to totally demolish the tax payers athletics track and build a new football stadium - no way were the Mighty Spurs ever ever really leaving N17.

Like many of us, and as Mrs P said, we have good friends who also happen to be West Ham, and their club is now renting a running track for 34 days out of 365 days, it’s the senile porno boys and Miss Piggy who need to be strung up
