Going to play a little bit of devil’s advocate here but for you old fellers:
Our fantastic FA Cup run from 1980 through to 1983 was based almost entirely on favorable draws and the first time we got a tough draw outside of London (away to Everton in the 5th round in 82/83), we were eliminated.

Going to add that I went to every single one of those matches — including all four finals — and had the time of my life.

I despised Jose but he should never have been sacked the week of the final. If we wanted the ultimate low-block football thief to steal a trophy he’s the one. Instead we went into the final with his tactics but without him and did fuck all.

It would have been much sweeter to win the final and then sack the cunt.

I love me some shithousery. Especially of the variety that Argentinian players tend to bring. Give me a choice of signing either prime Bale or prime Lamela, I'd take Lamela without blinking.

Now, if we had a team where Bale would give us a final push towards a PL title, I'd reconsider, but as a straight choice of type to wear the shirt, I'd pass on the fancy player and take the crazy fucker who'd chew off his own, or his opponent's, right arm to secure a win

Notwithstanding that Lamela would get 14 red cards under this season's new rules.

Sounds to me like you're more a "Football fan" than a "Spurs fan" ......in which case your view is completely understandable.

I'm kinda the opposite to you. Spurs is on my blood. I'd give my right arm to see us win the league and become more successful than our 2 most bitter rivals .

Nope, most definitely a Spurs fan with the club in my blood. First game was new years day, 4-1 win over United back in 1996 and been hooked ever since.

The only thing me and you differ in is the fact I want to be entertained.

I could have quite easily decided to go and be a Man Utd fan in 1996 instead. They were winning things left right and centre.
