Player Conor Gallagher

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He played enough minutes to be ready to play a game a week man, come off it. We already have a surplus of his type of player, it was a stupid singing. Like they just signed him for the sake of singing him. For less money we could've got Neves, who actually is the profile we need

I don't think he is a great signing either, at the time it did seem way more opportunistic than strategic. I do think he is knackered though which was obvious against Newcastle and overall he is a better quality player than what he has shown thus far. I also agree Neves would've been a far more appropriate signing.

This is going to go down as one of our worst ever signings. Not worst ever players but most nonsensical and shortsighted footballing additions. One could contextually argue that it already is.

He has been an excellent signing.
Any other manager but "pragmatic" would have seen Gallagher was out on his feet and brought on a yoot or whatever before the goal that thankfully sealed the fate for the prick.

I think all of us will be in agreement once we see Gallagher playing under an attacking manager.

Frank didnt even get 10% of the ability some of our players have, such as the likes of Simons in my opinion.

I wasnt particularly keen on signing him from the beginning, but he has proven to potentially be an asset alongside a Simons or Maddison in the starting 11.

Will remain a workhorse, clean injury record which is a necessity in our circumstances, and probably become more involved in the final third under an attacking manager like Poch.

CG was playing out of his skin for Chelsea when they moved him on , never understood why , he brings a mentality a lot of our players lack and he is not the worst footballer .

The effort he put in to win the ball and then get a great cross in for Solanke to score the scorpion shows what he's about .

Even if he is here for just the next couple of seasons whilst we try yet again to rebuild he will show his worth .

With the injuries this was a necessary signing. There is a lot to be criticized, but not this one.
Think we still would've been better off signing someone with a skillset that actually complemented the squad. That said, I think he's a useful player to have around the squad moving forward and the price was decent. Homegrown, hardworker, good mentality, never injured (touch wood). These are qualities we can use.

Just need to remould the squad and have him in the Sarr/Bentancur squad spot.

We should have signed someone like that as well.
