Up until recently he'd been defending Ange; so why has he not applied himself and imposed the necessary consistency levels to live up to his reputation over the last 2 seasons (this one especially)?

He's got all of the superficial hallmarks of a top player, but the fact that he so often falls short in producing even the bare minimum standard in terms of actually defending, means he is nowhere near for me.
He's an absolute liability in terms of availability, due to injury and suspension.

Sorry, but I really rate Romero. His passing is top tier. His aerial prowess in the opposition box is not debatable and you really know nothing about football (or do not actually watch the games) if you disagree with that.

I get that he's had a crap season, and has made mistakes (all our senior players have under Ange), and that some fans are questioning his loyalty. But he is a top CB.
