Think we need to go all out for a better partner for him next summer. Dier and Sanchez are just not good enough and Rodon is very raw still. Let’s not forget Dier was at fault for all 3 Woolwich goals. He’s not good enough. He will have to do for now, as he’s the most experienced. Not good enough though.

Even today it was Dier who just watched the ball go past him and let the man he was supposed to be covering score easily. Guy's an idiot. Fucks up almost every single game. Then he puts he is arm up like a dickhead begging for offside, when he was the one who played their play on.

AAAAAH.... I get it now..... You seem to think that whomever is nearest the goalscorer is to blame for a goal.

Never mind the fact that before your gif starts, Romero mis-times a challenge that leaves the defensive line exposed or the fact that the crosser of the ball had all the time in the work to pick his pass which was placed just enough ahead of Dier to beat him.

.....Your scathing review of him last week makes sense now too.

As for calling for an off-side; you would do as in real-time (with no replay) it looked very close.

kane was 100% at fault for one of the goals

Nope watch it again. Kane might have been at fault for possibly the build up, but Dier was slow to react to pretty much every Woolwich goal. People seem to forget if it wasn’t for Traore’s awful finishing in the league, Dier’s mistake would have cost us those 3 points. He’s a clown end of story and his partner in crime Sanchez isn’t any better. Both need to go.

Even seconds before the clip starts, Dier has only 1 man to look at and its their goalscorer. He does absolutely nothing and then watches the ball go past him while their player just runs past him and taps it in. Only a blind person cant see whats going on.

He called for offside for someone thats behind him. Idiot.

The cross runs beyond him...... Difference. 9/10 the ball moves faster than a player.

To the naked eye their guy is level with him when the cross is hit. FFS.

He pressumably sees him out of his peripheral vision making the finish...... My first reaction when I saw the goal was that it was off-side too.

(After a replay, not so much....)

Regardless, point is him calling for an offside afterwards is irrelevant to his actions beforehand...... Someone calls for an offside in most goals; often wrongly..... It's been going on for decades.
