Broken collar bone apparently.

Must be doing something right. He’s already winding up oppo fans. If he can keep suspensions to one game a year via totting up then his take no prisoners hard but fair tactics will continue to be a real boon.

I read a couple posts saying he was a yellow away from being suspended for 2 games...

I checked a few epl statistics sites and they all have Romero on 8 yellow cards and not 9. So he should be fine as the accumulation expires after the next game.

This guy lacks urgency. Even when we desperately need a goal, he just stops the play. They have time to mobilize. walks with the ball for a few seconds before deciding to pass it sideways. He needs to do better.
And he messed up for their goal so very poor game for him.

Really pissed me off today, not the mistake at the end but the time he was wasting on the ball. Every time he got it he walked forward, looked up, rolled it back and forth then passed it sideways. Played with absolutely no intent to hurt Brighton. Surprising from him because normally he’s stepping out, passing crisply and getting forward. Didn’t see him do it once today.

I agree but we know he is a smart and progression player so maybe he had no options available.

He’s a centre back for fuck sakes not a playmaker 😅

Two losses down to him. Burnley and today.
I like him but Spurs can do without the casual and cocky and the mistakes.

4 games without getting booked for idiotic impulsive shit is impressive, then he decides to try and drag that ball behind himself into an incredibly dangerous area resulting in the goal.
It was fucking idiotic. But your not allowed to criticise him and must pretend he is perfect at all times. He was duff today like the others but bares less responsibility than the midfield and strikers

Agree with most on his performance yday. I was swearing at him especially in the FH where he just doodles on the ball, stops then just passes it back to dier. Even though royal is crap he often didn’t pass to him when simple pass was on. Surely he should be a team player. They must analyse the game and notice all of this? He was so frustrating on the ball yday!
