Great teams have players who turn up every week and get an 8 or 9 performance rating, with the odd 7 or 10, and maybe one stinker a season.

We don't have great players, just a mix of good, average, and crap.
 
People use the player threads just to justify their agendas against players knowing that arguably every single player is playing like shite at the moment.
 
It looks like he'll be gone over summer (late in the TW for an inflated fee), but he's always needed a more reliable partner - which he's never had at Spurs. He's the aggressive one, but needs a cool-head next to him - Davies is too old; Dier was past it - maybe VdV or Danso who are both more mature.

However, probably time to cash-in.

World Cup winner or not, he needs to find his form and consistency if he wants to earn a move away.

Most likely will need to be next season that he does that now. No matter how much he wants to move.
