Player Cristian Romero

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

You’d want a heart of stone not to feel for the guy after all the blood he has sweated in the Spurs jersey. Will it be the Spurs or Argentina medical team that oversees his push to be fit for the World Cup?
If I was De Zerbi I’d ship him off to Argentina for rehab, which he’d probably love.

We’re better off without his toxic presence stinking out the joint!

Lot of talk about the Romero incident yesterday.
Looking at the footage it’s noticeable that other players are all feeling bad for him too.

It’s obvious what’s going on here. That’s pure fear he’s about to go into the treatment room. The other players know it too. Bad things happen there.

Fuck knows exactly what goes on in there but it reduced a grown man to tears.
Organ harvesting?

:frankthink:

That Romero got injured on De Zerbi's first game is absolutely emblematic of this season.

Useless and ineffective as Romero has been, there can be nothing that allows anyone to think beyond a hex and fate holding us to account for previous misdemeanours.

It's inexplicable.

And Romero should now never captain this club again.

Genuinely expecting a bounce now that this toxic piece of shit is out the picture.

He’s never playing for us again so should be nowhere near the training ground from here on out.

Surely good fortune if Romero’s useless. Can’t get picked. Things are looking up

Without Cristian Romero, I genuinely think we have a better chance of turning this around. Our best results have come when he's been out, and that's not a coincidence.
Having a captain whose focus seems elsewhere can become toxic for the group. Right now, the team needs leadership and clarity - not distractions.

He is, without doubt, the most over rated Spurs player I have ever seen at the club.

It really would not surprise me if the Argentina medical staff have him back in their country quickly.
It would also not surprise me one bit, if he is fit for their world cup campaign.
For us, i personally think we have a much better chance of fielding a team of 11 players for the whole game.
Romero, i honestly think, wants to injure players.
