I understand the resentment of Rose completely. But I do think he is a much better player then Davies, so I'm pretty torn on your recommendation. Granted it makes a bit of sense, but losing Walker was always made a little bit easier by knowing that we have Rose and Trippier's very strong progress last year.
In the unlikely event he gets on the pitch for us again I would forgive him the minute he puts in a performance at the same level we came to expect.
