Ex-Spurs Player Davinson Sanchez

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Disregarding the Sanchez bit this is still very interesting for the PL.
Maybe we will see a slow demise.

Fall of pound means Tottenham face paying more for Davinson Sánchez by the day

Yes Tottenham are the only team facing this problem...

If you're not prepared for a 0.2% currency fluctuation from yesterday through today then I'm afraid you have much bigger problems to worry about. There is no way that wouldn't be considered. They would hedge the currency for sure and frankly if they haven't taken these steps they're not fit to run a club.

They are demanding a price close to what we got for a right wing back that's been the best in his position for years, that was bought by the biggest spenders in the league, who were desperate to fill his position, for a 21 year old who's had one good season in the fucking Eresdivisie. And Levy is cheap fornot just giving them whatever they want?

Had Levy offered 50 they would've said 60.

That defender is better than Verthongen and Alderweireld ever been....

And he's just 21, which means lot's of upside potential. I really hope Ajax do not sell.

Not for 40M, not for 50, not even 90 million.

I'm fine thanks. I'm not saying they aren't impressive, I'm saying it's absolutely no way to judge his ability. Like I said, if an academy player had similar stats, playing with, and against inferior players does that make him a starter in the Prem? No, because it's a different level.

I never argued the level is equal - but the quality of team-mates should also be taken into consideration when analysing the quality of opponents if looking at numbers

Totally agree, I mean why should Sanchez waste his time at Tottenham, not exactly Europe's elite, they can't even make it past Gent in the last 16 of the EL. While the club he actually plays for made it into the EL final....
