Whoever doubts him can fuck off. He's out of form, but he's extremely intelligent for someone his age, and that's something that can't be coached. I also loved the fact that he started using his right foot again tonight. He was good beforehand because he would occasionally use it, but with the loss of confidence he restricted himself to only cutting into his left.

especially if you have someone like richarlison at number 9 whos gonna thrive off box service. then wingers actually going all the way to the byline would be beneficial. would defo nice to see some versatility
Guys, FFS don't do it to yourselves. This is how we've ended up in this fucking mess. Guy plays shit for 20 games, then has a OK (which tonight was only barely) game and everyone goes "see" he's fucking great.
He was so shit last week he was dropped. From a team that's shit and has no real alternative. He's been shit for months on end.
Yes, he's got some brain (but even then not elite brain), some technical ability (but again not top top elite) but his a fucking sloth. he can't get away from anyone. A couple of times a game he'll cut inside and curl a cross in, a couple of times a season he'll do the same and curl a shot in. He is athletically challenged, and you can't teach that either. And his skill set isn't great enough to over come that either. He will always struggle to make his abilities count.
I really hope we haven't got an obligation. Money needs to be better spent.

He will be here next season and rightly so.
Can’t imagine he’ll be in demand and European clubs have no money anyway. Everyone is annoyed by Levy’s penny pinching and thinking he’s a master negotiator, but if ever there were a time for it, this would be it. Don’t take the option and see if we can get him at a bargain. If we don’t get him, it probably won’t be a major long term regret.
