Maybe he’s still tired?
He’s a slow plodder, fitness has fuck all to do with that. I’ve watched him for 2 years and he wouldn’t out sprint me over 40 yards.
At some point people are going to have to stop making excuses for the fact he’s just not an athlete of any kind.
It's really odd because when he first joined he seemed to have a few gears that I didn't even notice he wasn't particularly pacy. I would like to think he has just been run into the ground during the first part of the season and is probably short of fitness... I think we are all waiting for a new manager and a summer pre season to see what we really have with this squad... it's so hard to be definitive about any of them even though I am probably the worst culprit in being definitive about most of them being shite.Maybe he’s still tired?

When fit he’s got a great engine and will chase a lost cause in the 95th minute.
Practicing on any plastic pitch must be better than not doing it at all until the team gets there.
Deki completely lost focus once the talk about big clubs wanting him started. He started becoming selfish and didn't seem to understand what makes his football good. In it's not that he's a magnificent finisher. But he can see openings in the box that nobody else can and when he does that, few can match him. His incredible streak earlier as well as his contribution when we first signed him proves that. Really was the top player in the league and i think he won POTM award too. But that seems so far away now.
I think he needs more motivation. Unless we really make something huge in the summer, i don't think we'll be able to motivate the players enough including Deki. Champions league football alone is not enough and I don't fancy us against either them or bilbao at home, if they were to make an epic turnaround.
I'd give Deki 6 months - 1 year under a new manager, but if it's the same as now, sell him to saudi arabia. I think he's not happy with Levy's pay structure
