Player Dejan Kulusevski

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I thought he looked absolutely hopeless as a 10 for most of last night and actually thought he improved when he went out wide.

But then in the next game he starts out wide he will look hopeless there and then will improve when he goes inside.

Such a weird player but, frankly, I think as other have alluded to, the bottom line is he’s just not as good a player as many try and force themselves to believe.

For some strange reason he seems to be exceptionally highly rated outside of Spurs circles though, which is very unusual for a Spurs player. Usually even our genuinely top class players aren’t rated that highly.
If a serious offer came in for him in the summer I would 100% sell.
I think because hes a highlights player, who (before his injury) every game would do something very good at least once. Pep massively rates him. He looks shot of confidence and mobility currently. He needs to play RW as I agree he looked much better there and johnson again just looks awful

I agree, he's a very different kind of 10, he isn't a game controller but a player who's effective (when in form) in and around the box.
Yeah, if we go into that game with Richie LW, Kulu 10 and johnson RW we can kiss any chance good bye. Im honestly thinking we go Son LW, Kulu RW, Solanke up front and play bissouma bentacur sarr and just try to dominate the midfield battle. They play a 2 in midfield, so with the legs with we can take control there.

The key thing for me is with the full backs now kicking on wide it means kulu and son can be very effective as inside forwards again, so kulu can be in the space he's effective in and son is able to cut in and shoot.
I think that would be my front 3 too. There is fuck creativity in there but Deki offers nothing in that department when in the form he’s in and is a liability in the defensive and midfield 3rds because he gives the ball away most of the time and gives away fouls.

As for Porro being allowed to play as an old fashioned full back getting forward and putting crosses in. None of this inverted shit that kills the team.

I thought Udogie was massively improved last night but he needs to be more purposeful when he’s in that final third. He had one good ball across the face of the goal first half but too many times he can actually shoot or be more aggressive with his balls into the box. He looks a strong fucker but kicks the ball like he’s taken his foot off and replaced it with a sock full of diarrhoea! There’s no “I’m going to fucking make something happen”attitude about how he plays.

Fuck me, a time where every other player in the Spurs team were playing like crap apart from Kane, yeah real compelling evidence that lmao

Will your agenda allow you to even consider that Kulusevski is just not that great? Or has some pretty substantial flaws, that have manifested under at least three coaches now.

You’ve acknowledged in the Ange thread that what Ange coached the other night was reasonably solid football but Kulusevski was still one of the few players that was really shit. Are Allegri and Conti incompetent too?

All across football, the best players manage to still look good in poor teams, that’s why better teams still buy them.

Ange completely sucks as a coach- all our players look well off it. Now that he has discovered Burnley level aerial attack tactics, players look like they at least can do that now.

We need a real coach to teach these players real tactics.

You’re never going to see the outgoing and incomings you want anyways, so you’ll have to just deal with your own frustration as you gripe and moan about players that won’t be leaving when you wish.

It’d be a lot cooler if you showed more support for our players, and stop pretending our ass of a coach isn’t making everything
immeasurably worse.

What agenda do I have?
