8m loan fee for 18 months....
2.6m per half season. It's standard fair, but it's just another thing peeps are hyping up to be a catastrophic big deal when it's not.

I believe so whereas the other lad is a fixed purchaseRefresh me guys are really committed to this signing as in can not choose not to buy?
I don't see a can't be arsed attitude with him, he's not fast but he strikes me as a team player with a decent attitude.Hilariously for the people who want to cut him slack your description sounds like one.......Tanguy Ndombele
Agree though he is only 21 so could yet become a 40m player (that's not a lot these days).I just don’t see him being a player to really push us on, it’s early days still but he’s exactly as I expected so far. Decent squad player because he improves the low level of intelligence we normally have on the pitch, but a 40 million player he is not.

He will be 37 million in total if we end up buying him..
If I read it right from a newspaper, theres an 8 million loan fee. If we play him enough (i think thats what it means by 'meeting targets'), then we are obligated to buy him for a remaining 29 million on top of the 8 million loan fee. If he doesnt meet targets, then we have the option to not buy but the 8 million loan fee stands.Refresh me guys are really committed to this signing as in can not choose not to buy?

Without comparing Kulusevski to, say, Henry, Salah and de Bruyne...but all those 3 had really bad beginnings in the EPL - and, none would have made it further than being "average" if one should go by their start-up in the EPL.
Again, I am not saying Kulusevski will ever become as good as those players being mentioned but one can't judge a player after just 2 games.
Isn't it one or the other?Obligation is dependent on BOTH of the following:
1. We get CL
2. We play him 15 times
Otherwise we reserve the right to bin him.
Fair- that's good news
He'll get 15 games in 18 months for sure; but we're not getting top 4 so it's basically an option to buy.The only thing that is left unclear is whether or not the 15 game part resets for the next season.
