Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I expect nothing less than a knee skid then a celebratory dance followed by some sort of mask forged with the hands and breath steam on the camera lense.

Anything less than the following is piss poor tbf:

Seems our new ex-Juve players haven't been cheating with their distance training. Son and Emerson on the other hand.

TBF to Son he's doing the most intense runs out of our anyone on the pitch. Each metre you run at 30mph run costs more than twice the energy of a 15mph run.

Higher speed = lower milage.

should i be worried about his lack of emotion when we scored? at least one (third?) he sauntered back to half way when you'd expect any player to be tearing over to the scorer.... if he's not emotional about doing well, i expect he'll not be emotional about doing poorly... i know its a profession, but the right level of emotional engagement improves performance...
No no you shouldn't worry. He was probably waiting for Craig Pawson to find a reason to award it to city

Weird take but I respect your right to it.

He was probably wondering about the offside...but he comes across as very calm and controlled in general, which is a good thing, in my view.

Not all players need to be using emotion to maximise their game.
Nah... i expect a lot more emotion... i expect him to scream something like "Tottenham till i die....!!!" .... oh... never mind....

What I like most about him so far is that he's clearly got a footballing brain. When you think about it, we really don't have many players that do. It looks like he actually thinks about his next pass before the ball reaches him, and it's refreshing.

After the N'Dombele fiasco I like to think our scouts/directors are as interested in temperament/personality as they are technical ability. Dejan would seem to support that.

It's really hard to say what the club's transfer policy was before, or what it's like now.

It always seemed like we go by the manager's preference, and if it's too expensive we just chuck whoever catches the board's eye at him and see if he accepts.

PEH, and Dohery were clearly Mourinho choices. He also wanted Skriniar, but it was deemed too expensive so they chucked Rodon at him to tick a box.

Did a lot of the same stuff to Poch, until he had a meltdown and refused every possible new signing, they then gave him whatever he wanted (Sess, Ndombele, Lo Celso) without doing any due diligence.

Still seems to be the case, with Conte and Paratici themselves paying attention to temperament rather than clear club policy of doing extensive background checks.

Nice interview here.

Fuck sake, stop trying to make me love you, Kulu!

I'm still enjoying calling you kuluslowski... hold off with the great interviews for a while, yeah.

Seriously, though, in that short period of time, you could see exactly why Conte likes him.

Perfect character/attitude and mindset, for him.

And, already, seems more emotionally mature than most the squad.

Great kid.

actually, citeh away was probably a free hit for the new guys.... Burnley on a cold wet night will really show how stout these two are.....

What I liked most from his game is he was making intelligent runs. he was a danger down that wing. I really think that can help open things up more for Son and Kane. And my goodness, picking that cross at that moment...just wow.

Think both the new guys looked great. hell, watching the 3 goals and the near goal from Kane, that is damn good play from the squad. Something to build on.

But yeah, Deki adds a lot to the team out there.
