Not convinced. He can bang in a good cross and is a goal threat but all round play is disappointing. Perhaps compounded by the clown at RWB.
Excellent squad player but I’m agnostic as to whether we upgrade RWB or LWB this month, one needs improvement
 
Interesting reading the Peterborough match report that the Sanchez goal came from a Kulusevski corner, just like one of Doh’s against Motherwell.

Not sure I’ve ever seen him take a corner in a proper match, he tends to be outside the box ready to pick up the pieces, but I can’t remember that being particularly productive.

I do love a Perisic corner, but do we have another good option here? Son’s are kind of hit and miss.

would like to see what hes like taking some freekicks too. hes got that lovely technique where he can get whip on the ball.
 
I feel like he'd be good enough to play as a Attacking midfielder and will probably drop back into centre midfield later on his his career, he is good and smart enough to play those roles much like De Bruyne.

You are joking surely?

Perisic has 7 assist across all competitions with 1322 minutes played.
And should have 2 or 3 more considering some absurdly wasted chances...

That is more than any of our fullbacks have managed in a season since god-knows-when.

Also he has THE BEST crossing accuracy in the whole league.

Just fucking move the ball upfield faster (instead of passing it back from midfield / or finding forward pass at the time all of the opposition players know to expect it there) change the flanks faster, sit back and enjoy what he can do.
It is ridiculous to claim that "it does not matter which flank we strenghten" specially given we've got Udogie on the way for next season.

And if something was still not clear then write it down - Perisic is the best fullback we've had for years and LWB is very-very-very low in list of reinforcements.

I disagree. He’s not a full back for starters.

He has end product but I think his all round game is too weak personally.

I completely agree about not playing to his strengths (moving the ball too slowly)

Udogie will likely see as much game time as Spence.

Maybe in your universe he is not.
Maybe for Croatia he is not.

But he has won Serie A as starting LWB. Under Conte.

So for us in the real world, he is a fullback. And best we have at that.

He’s 34 next month. He was a stellar player, but I’ve been disappointed. He’s done ok in flashes, clearly a final third player but all around game? Meh. If we could sign a replacement now, let’s do it. Sessegnon needs replacing and Perisic not gonna be more than an impact player into his mid 30’s.
