I’m a Deki fan but he’s been hopeless for about 6 weeks. We actually played with two men down with him and Sonny in the first half and still dominated possession. Just imagine having two explosive wingers that can take on a full back. What a completely different team we’d be. For as much as I like Deki he’s nowhere near as good as madders in midfield either.
I honestly think he’d be better as centre forward because he can hold the ball up. Miles off it just now.

Can we just give him 2 games off play Porro or Johnson up there, and have him fresh for our next biggest game - the R16 first leg.

honestly, go to the Dubai for a week or something.

Played most matches this season when its been playing weekends followed by midweek matches, so he's going to be pretty knackered.

Going to pretty difficult to rotate him to rest him, even with Maddison back now, as we don't have too many alternative players

I could do it. It's mostly just trundling into people, slowing up attacks, giving the ball away flamboyantly. I'm 60 and carrying a bit of surplus timber but I could probably move at around the same speed as him too.

Dispossessed 5 times. The boys consistent.

So who do you suggest can create as many chances for Spurs as Kulusevski has this season - whilst playing every match at weekends and midweek so is pretty knackered ?

Quality>Quantity of shite

I should think about 52 of those 53 "chances" were Kulusevski stopping, trundling inside and laying the ball off two yards for Porro to whack over the bar from 25 yards. Werner, Son, Richarlison and even 14yo Mikey Moore have created better XA90 than Kulusevski

The mere fact that Deki has stayed healthy all season for us is insane. He's one of the only players fit enough to survive Ange's and Spurs fitness gauntlet.

Besides that Ange has done as far as I can tell nothing to help coach him into being a better CAM, other than possibly simply giving him the chance to actually play there.

It's crazy to me how eager people are to bag on our players when it obvious the coaching is extremely subpar.

Not upgrading our wide options in the summer always meant this season was a write off. Son and Johnson will get you to mid-table and Kulu is just a makeshift RW at this point.

I want to see a front 3 of Tel - Solanke - Odobert at some point. On paper at least, that looks a lot better than anything we've put out this season. Energy, directness, 1v1 ability, hold up play.

We and Deki need a better coach. Ange has from what I can see no idea how to coach a classic type CAM. Maybe Deki won't be DeBruyne, but he should be being trained in the same role- that's his best possible position imo.

Why are you arguing or debating with bus conductor do you want to go insane!!!
I'm just in here every 5-10 pages or so, defending our very decent player and club servant Kulusevski, trying to remind everyone that our coach is tactically naive and extremely poor at game and squad management, and to take it easy on our players. It's kind of funny riling him up about it to be honest, though I don't wish to be wind up.

Fucking Awful again, but equally fucking irritating is Ange’s refusal to ever drop him or sub him off. Even worse today was moving him back into midfield when we were already struggling to get control of the game.
Your comments would hold more water if you didn't shit on the bloke come rain or shine. It's why you're a meme in here and nobody takes your criticism of him seriously.

As for Kulu, he didn't have a great game the other day, and in truth has been off form for a while. But that's to be expected given he's played a full season of matches and it's only February. The fact he's still standing is remarkable; the bloke should be dead on his feet and yet still tops our stats for chances created. Urgently needs a rest.

Problem is, does anyone expect Johnson to step up to the plate? I'd rather Moore or Odobert on the right frankly, and neither of them are ideal; Moore is still too young to trust with regular minutes at this level, and Odobert needs to be eased back in, plus he's naturally a LW. We urgently need to buy a natural RW this summer and sell Johnson.

Tel has played well for us at CF but I feel he would be better on RW. Maybe we will see when Solanke is back.
