Ex-Spurs Player Dele

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Dele is a kid who made a mistake. Think about the stuff you did when you were 20 and how it would stand up to close attention.
Gerrard got sent off v Everton when he was 19, maybe Liverpool should have fucked him off instead of getting behind him ... not.
Dunno about you but I got major bollockings for the stupid shit I did at 20.

He let us down. He needs to be made aware of that and our frustrations.

It's not about the tackle itself for me.

It's about him letting us down at such an important stage by doing something intentionally stupid and what it cost us. That is what should be punished.

For me the best approach is to get him back playing well as quickly as possible.

At this stage, we will be cutting off our bollocks by dropping him. The team suffered last night, and they will deal with it behind the scenes. No need for the public execution.

We have enough players out already

It's two seasons in a row he's done something that's cost us. Getting banned last year and then last night. It's like a naughty kid, you love them, but they aren't going out to play with their mates for a week.

Hopefully behind the scenes he's got a dressing down. If he did something like that, say, in the F.A. Cup final v. Woolwich/Chelsea (which are even more heated) I imagine some wouldn't be so kind.

I trust Poch, as a combative player himself, will know how to handle it.

Spot on.

Horrible potential career ending tackle aside, he let us down. We had 10 guys out there who tried to fight and 1 stupid kid let us down.

Like I said, he'll learn from it. He needs to.

Yeah he might of cost us who really knows for sure, but what has he won us.... many games where his goals or assists have earned Is 3 points, he is young he will learn, let's get behind him, he fucking spurs it's as simple as that!
Poch will handle this behind the scenes, just because he doesn't say in public doesn't mean he ain't gonna get a bollocking.... plus I'm sure the rest of the team are pretty fucked of with him.....
Let's just move on

just europe.

as for him knowing, clearly not.
he fucked us over last night, what he's done in previous games is irrelevant.

No its not irrelevent because it proves that we need him, and that he can do it again in future games.

What is this?!

The fucking Gent Player Sympathy Foundation?

The only ones that gain from dropping Alli next game is Stoke

calm down, it is irrelevant cos he got sent off!
what the fuck has scoring one of the greatest goals ive seen (at palace) got to do with last night?

and i've never said to drop him, which would be moronic, but you carry on

hopefully someone gave him both barrels in the changing room last night.

Poch should take him back to Wembley and rub his nose in the turf at the spot where he was sent off, like a puppy. The boy has to be trained properly.

Its ludicrous.....suddenly we dont need him for the run in. The poor Gent player who played on after faking twice that someone had broken his fake already" injured" knee.

If we sold him, same people would want Poch shot, but now he´s just a petulant luxury that can be dropped

Fucking comments in here. Literally fucking unbelievable! What I would give for 11 Dele's on the pitch.

It was a late tackle, that's it, nothing more than that. Late tackles end up with someone getting hurt because they are late. It is part of football for fuck sake. He got a red card and rightly so, that is his punishment and of course being linched by your own fans.

People saying he had a smile on his face when he did it or he has issues caused by his upbringing, I have NEVER heard such wank in all of my life, who are you idiots!? I've rarely heard of a footballer so young sound so assured, so articulate, so smart as him, yet our own fans think he is a deranged axe wielding psychopath, mentally scared taking out his revenge on anyone who fouls him, fucking hell!

People carrying on as if he is a walking red card, fuck me this is his first one he's got! Why should Poch drop him for next game? Why would any manager do that? Has any manager ever done that? Again never heard such wank in all of my life. No wounder Red Top news papers haven't gone to the wall.

Basically, this.

One red card in his whole career. Off the top of my head - Gerrard, Beckham and Zidane all made similar stupid tackles are they turned out just fine.
