You don't want to make millions of dollars for beating people up and be an extremely successful fighter who held two belts in two different weight classes at the same time? So in laymens terms just be super successful at whatever you do? Well that seems really silly.
He's a fucking wanker.

And don't get me started on the 2 weight champ bollocks

Money isn't everything.

Think he's talking about McGregor being a bit of a prick. Of course he'd like the money.

In the modern world, money is everything to alll but the most special people-& they are usually very wealthy anyway.

I put Harry Kane in the "I'm very happy at Spurs, earning £100 k a week & scoring for fun" category.

Alli may well be a very different beast. Love him at Spurs but I suspect he's the next Bale-world record fee merchant who always wanted to "end up at..." when he signs for some horrendous sum of money. I hope I'm wrong. But whatever, I'd take Kane over Alli any day.

I do love a drunken ramble by the way

Get yo' ass in the MMA thread! Conor is a chancer. Handed everything on silver platter by Dana. Not to mention the most inactive UFC champion in history.

In the words of the great Nathan Diaz ''Fuck Conor!''.

He is marketable and seen as a draw and is thus pushed as a contender (Caveat being they need to be able to back it up)... No real difference to how challengers are selected in boxing... Both are closer to pro-wrestling than they would care to admit.

You think if CM Punk could have mustered a win a few months back that he wouldn't have been fast-tracked into the title scene?

Obv Dana would rather him and guys like Brock lose to UFC guys off-the bat, but if not they'll get pushed due to marketability and name value.

Fuck me, finally some sense after putting Wilshire and Oxlade-Chamberlain on the cover in years gone by.

Oh, and remember a couple of years ago when they thought it was a good idea to do an online vote and ended up with Jordan fucking Henderson on the cover over Kane, Aguero, and league-winning Courtois?

I had a steelbook version that had Gareth Bale in a Spurs shirt one year. The regular covers all had him in a real madrid shirt though. :eriksenserious:

I'd frankly love to see how he copes with a top level striker like Edson Barboza in the Lightweight division. Eddie Alvarez abandoned his game plan and frankly embarrassed himself in that fight.

The Diaz brothers are bell ends as well. Like some x-rated John Cena caricature. I appreciate they had a hard upbringing but they're adults now.

At least with MacGregor it's a persona he puts on to make a scene and increase his profile.

Both represent terrible examples of modern sports stars

I love him.

Problem is my girlfriend loves him as well in a different manner and told me that if the opportunity ever presents it self, she would shag Dele.

Should I be worried? :kanehand:
