Player Destiny Udogie

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I can't remember the last time we had proper depth at fullback.

I guess walker, rose and trippier plus the other Kyle.

A decade ago. Nice to see.

I think we need to see if Spence prefers left or right. Then go get a strong young players ala sarr bergvall for the other position to learn/compete.

Very doable. And if done right, set up for a good 5 years.

Goes from strength to strength, this lad. Our best player tonight.

Only critique is to pick his crosses a little better, few more assists under the belt.

Against the likes of PSG and Man City I can see the logic in playing Spence but in every other game Udogie should start at left back. He offers a completely different attacking threat down the left, which is even more crucial considering how weak we are at the left wing position.

Good performance, vital clearance at the end following Vicario's save. I'm glad he learned from the first goal where he wasn't quick enough to clear it.

Right back to his tip top best - in fact even better than his opening 4 months under Ange and when he came back late last year.

Can't believe some clowns were writing him off when he was injured. :roflmao:

Great player, still only 22 as well, he has everything in his game to be a star. Just needs to stay fit.

He's really pacy actually, despite being bigger and stronger than your average fullback.Allows him to blindside opponents with those runs by sneaking behind them in no time.

Almost as vital as Kudus in getting the attack going, as we don't have anything else going from that left side.
