Guys a wingback. Of he had been trained by a committed Conte like he did with Victor Moses who he basically walked positionally through early Inter games he would be further ahead. By the time he learns the position we will have a coach that won't use the damn system you watch.

agree it has to be easier & cheaper to empoly position specific coaches who will coach that role thoughout the club,
for me i would have free kick specialist, throw-in specialist, CH specialist etc,
they would work with with all age groups and all players so ALL the players understand the basic's of each position

Tough end to the match, Rennes were leading the tie until 2 minutes before the end of the match their 18-year-old defender scored an own goal, and they proceeded to lose on pens. The kid was in tears.

Rennes so unlucky!

Doué (17) scored their first penalty. An 18 year old missed one. And another 18 year old scored the own goal in 119th minute to take it to pens. So many young players getting European experience.

Watched 5 mins of this on that BT channel that moves between games but in that time he made an impressive run and pull back for a chance, a decent couple of passes and a defensive header.
Nowhere near enough to draw any meaningful conclusions but I liked what I saw.
Shame they’re out now.

I'm glad he is playing with continuity, but his way and that of tottenham could not meet again (emerson and porro have closed the RWB spot for years to come)
Not sure Emerson has closed rwb slot for years to come, he can't cross won't cross which means regardless of getting forward he ain't a wb, does look a competant fb though. As for Porro well that was a shocker of debut and looked poor from every angle, let's just hope he has got all the bad shit out the way.

Also depends who ever is in charge next season prefers

Is this the game he was meant to be 3/10?

Still looks a serious talent to me.

Crazy athleticism. Made some exceptional stops. The pullback and run forward towards the end was really great. Even played a nice through ball into the box at the front of the vid.

Got to be honest, Porro simply doesn't have the same athletic potential as Spence. There's a good chance Porro was a needless waste of money, and that Conte could have played Spence could have played through some growing pains with us with us in more or less of the same spot. It's not like Porro has been instrumental in our biggest wins lately.

I know Porro is a very good footballer, but I already wish we could have a do-over on his deal.
