Also not sure he can be "most improved" as it's hard to improve on a base line of near 0
He was given a new contract in October off the back of a couple of good 45 minutes performances - then got injured (think he signed while off injured) - so clearly the turning point was about faith in his character going forward as he hadn't even had a premier league start.
Imagine he hadn't signed then - we'd be scrambling to get a signature with big clubs here and in Europe getting in his agent's ear... Good call Ange/Levy/Lange whichever cunt made that call
Also - how's Genoa feeling? Could have signed him for 8million in July

Was always an attitude/mentality thing with him. He's 25 in a few months time so hopefully the penny has finally dropped. Either you get you're attitude right and become one of the best full-backs in Europe, and become number one choice for your country that will make semi-finals and finals, or go back to being someone who is wasting his potential and being loaned out at second rate clubs.
