Couldn't agree more.

His best position is as RB, not on the left.

We are only playing him on the left because of Levynomics and the complete lack of team management, and maintaining a balanced team with depth for years... Well, decades.

DJed playing on the left is is the result of Levy doing things on the cheap cheap.

Thinking about it, looking back, I think Ange was the cheap option too. As all the good experiencesd managers would have demanded proper investment for the team, rather than putting up with a deluge of Levy best buys.

He's highly talented and versatile. Remember at one point last season, in the depths of the injury crisis, he was trusted to play at centre back and didn't do a bad job. My guess is that he rehearses both LB and RB roles in training, so we're not neglecting his preferred position.

With his pace and talent on either side, Tuchel trusted him to be the deepest lying outfield player in attacking set pieces. He was switched from LB to RB later in the second half and did just as well there.

I don't think we have cause for complaint about how Frank is managing and coaching him.

What's been forgotten is that Spence has his own aggressive attacking side to his game when playing naturally (i.e. on the right); we just haven't really seen it at Spurs.

I’m also going to suggest that had it been anyone else other than Johnson, the funnies would have been considerably less in here.

It was a great thing to do .. if the little bitch has anything about him he’ll respond to it. Obviously that won’t happen as he’s meek and mild and will continue to hide and drift in games but Spence has probably had enough of that anyway.

The picture is from a GTA 5 meme. A video game from the Grand Theft Auto series. It's commonly used in their age group as banter to use against each other when someone has done better than you at something.

For all his faults on the pitch, Johnson comes across as a proper lad so he will not be a soft arse like you.

I’m certainly no soft arse. Just don’t agree with players making their team mates look bad. If it were just the done thing and acceptable throughout the game, we’d see it dozens of times every international break. We don’t though.

Maybe it’s the fact it’s a strange thing to see that makes me cringe. Maybe it’s that Spence might be in a position to be a smug twat if he’d more than 20 good games under his belt. Don’t know.

Normally, I think our senses of humour are pretty similar. Jarred me a bit when I saw your reaction to be honest. And using “a bit of banter” just made the Keys response so very easy for me.
