No one has really and this has been going on for a while, pre Frank, pre Ange although Conte got some improvements out of some players in his first season...everyone ends up either stagnating and going backwards, it's a tale tale sign that signifies the culture of the club, not all of the players we sign can be shit.
That plus the fact he has done fuck all at the top level you assume he's a youngster that's just burst onto the scene.
He’s not a left sided player, and I’m disappointed he hasn’t improved his left foot as he’s primarily played as a LB for several years now. I still think he’s a decent option on the right, but due to poor squad management he’s been shunted out of position. I agree his attitude isn’t the best, but as a back up RB we have far more pressing issues in the squad. I would certainly be giving Souza a game on the left, even if it’s just Fulham and we find out he’s not ready.
He perfectly sums up what alot of people have said about our players over the years. He signs for us and thinks he's made and stops trying to improve or progress.
