He suits city so well though. He’s basically a midfielder at left back. He’s very technical but defensively iffy which in a Tuchel England side matters a lot more than a Pep city side.
I think he’s very good but I don’t think his career long term will be at left back.

All the odd out rage is a bit over done. He clearly has talent that the club have spent years undermining by playing Porro, this is almost all his problems. But in a tournament where you might need someone to slow up a real live wire in the post Kyle Walker years it makes sense. Spence can be a dick in the same way VDV is they need fucking coaching. And we just stopped hiring men prepared to do that. If RDZ stays he gets to decide who has a future, if he doesn't probably only Poch would take us in the Champo and him I'd back to get thw very best out of Spence.
