Great performance last night. Salah was almost anonymous, which is incredible really.

This is confusing the fuck out me tbh.Why hasnt he been played before? Crazy treatment of a very decent player. Comfortably looks our best defensive full back.
Seems like Djed finally made a change this summer because neither Conte nor Ange were able to get a tune out of him before. We don’t know what happens behind closed doors. Maybe his attitude and application towards training was not what it should have been but the penny has definitely dropped now. He looks very good and comfortable on the left too.
You can be the best man manager there is but for me it’s an individual thing and Djed has obviously got his house in order. I really enjoy watching him. He’s a much better player than Udogie but I would love to see him on the right and Porro play higher up. I think having two players on the one side that work like fuck and happy to get up and down the pitch all day would be great. Having those two on one side would give them that freedom knowing if we lost it there’s a desire to get back and defend. We don’t get that with Johnson/Sonny and Werner as wide players. Also Porro is a brilliant crosser of the ball.Seems like Djed finally made a change this summer because neither Conte nor Ange were able to get a tune out of him before.
Doesn't reflect well on their man management. I know the players need to take responsibility but it's also a manager's job to get a tune out of these guys. Would have been a perfect RWB for Conte profile wise.
Anyway, just glad he has finally arrived and there's no going back now. He has proven he's up to it at this level. Udogie will have to step up big time to get his place back.

Just a thought because we are getting nothing from our wide forwards in general play.
Great point about Porro playing more as a wide right forward. We have played Dejan there and Porro is faster, and a better crosser than Dejan or Johnson. Yang , Moore and Odebert are the future. Hopefully Muani comes in and hits the ground running. You can be the best man manager there is but for me it’s an individual thing and Djed has obviously got his house in order. He apparently ‘matured’ in the summerYeah no mystery herr as Ange said it himself, he's just matured as a person and is working hard now.
Guess that loan to Italy straightened him out.
Deserves all the flowers he's getting for not staying on the bum path
He definitely needs to play that side in the second leg as his shut down of Salah was mighty impressive and went largely under the radar with the pundits.
Sounds like a grape. Or a cheese.
Djed's been excellent since coming in. Good balance between defense and attack; on balance I'd say he's been our best FB this season. He definitely needs to play that side in the second leg as his shut down of Salah was mighty impressive and went largely under the radar with the pundits.
Hardly surprising I suppose given the partisan lineup in the studio (bar Daws)!![]()
It’s impossible to dislike Ian Wright
