Tough day at the office but I think most left-backs will get roasted by Ndiaye this season. He's 7th for most successful dribbles in Europe's top leagues (our boy Kudus is 1st). Not sure Udogie would've handled him either on that form - he's bloody good.

I agree Udogie has looked better when he's played though - especially going forward.
 
Wondering whether at later stage of his carrier he won't be moved at Play as RCB in back 5, or even CB in back 4. Think he played there during his youth time. Also was good last year vs Newcastle when he spent 2nd half as CB

Bar ball carrying, he is really limited going forward. But he hes height, speed, very good 1 vs 1, could play both left and right side. Only problem he is little bit careless sometimes.

I thought he DJed came out on top to be honest. Ndiaye eventually just crossed the ball in from 20/25 yards out and that’s easy for us to deal with. If Ndiaye was dominating him he’d be going by him at will. He was getting tired and he knew Djed would have too much for him.
 
Becoming one of my favourite Tottenham players looks like he’s Kool & the gang doesn’t give a fuck yet 100% into it

Frank just needs to drop him to the bench or from the squad if that's necessary.

No player in this squad is so good that we are so much worse without them for a game or 3, sadly.

Even if that was the case, it's imperative Frank shows whoever who is boss, or else.

same issue on the other side as well. Kudus and Spence don’t know when to release the ball. Just run into the space they can pass it into and just crowd out that space. Think that’s a big reason Porro is struggling and part of the reason Xavi hasn’t started well especially down that left.
 
Poor today, he had some moments where he carried the ball well and got out of trouble but it didn't lead to anything.

He and Xavi made each other look even worse than they already were today, it's like they've never played on the same team before.
 
I thought he was better than Porro. I liked him playing out right at the end- you can he is much more natural attacking from that side. He does need to show good attitude though- it really does no good to dig out your teammates or boss.

I think he and VDV were probably upset with the fans and didn't want to go over. But they put the manager in a bad light because everything that happens ultimately lands at his feet. My guess is it will be addressed behind closed doors, but it is a bad look. Players need to realize fans won't always ignore their mistakes and fans should understand if they want to make an impact it isn't by having a go at the team they say they support. It's not like players are going to say to themselves, "The fans are booing, we need to get our act together."
 
That glaring lack of a left foot is becoming such a weakness! OK at defending but offer the sq root of nothing going forward! I’d like so see udogie stay fit for a few games. Spence can switch in and out with porro who was equally as poor today
