Would've gone with Lewis Hall, classy player. Already have Livramento in that can cover both sides. Djed is decent defending 1 on 1 which on paper is useful but don't think we'll be starting him anyway against the sides with those top players so bit pointless.

We have much better ones. Trent and James are much better right backs and Hall, O’Reilly and Livramento all better left backs.
He’s gone because he can play both sides and Tuchel loves an athlete. That’s it. He’s not really good enough.

As I said Tiuchel recognises the fact that he's an elite 1v1 defender and not many players have his profile in the squad.

O’Reilly? I’d pick him at LB over Hall every day of the week. Hall is a nice player who walks into our starting 11 but O’Reilly is a unique talent imo. He could easily score 5 tournament goals from LB
I think O’Reilly is a very talented footballer but not necessarily a very good fullback outside the City bubble.
