Player Djed Spence

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I actually think VDV could be a better option as left back in general.
Not sure I'd want him back there against the really tricky dribbly guys as he can be a bit stiff in 1v1s if it's not a straight foot-race, but I think in certain games he could be a really useful option at LB. Gives us some extra height and he's legit more of a threat going forward than Udogie with his pace and driving runs.

He's very good at running fast and recovering from his mistakes. That's about it. Sell

Edit: I thought it was the van de Ven thread

Gotta be honest, I came here to criticise him but for today. Thought he was poor tbh.

However, I do love this story. Fair play to him. I'll hold my tongue.

He is what he is as a player. Him and porro will be the right backs next season more than likely. A lot of players need more guidance and management than others, he is obviously one. Just depends if the manager and coaching staff want to put the hard yards into them to get the best out of them.

I seriously hope him and Porro aren't our right back choices next season. They've both been average at best and have pretty poor attitudes.

One of them needs to go and be replaced with a new first choice, personally I hope it's Spence.

I don't know how you or any poster assesses attitude, but I agree that both players are hardly the epitome of consistenly good.

But that's maybe symptomatic of team performance or the lack of it.

I think everyone seems to think we will shift 20 players here and rebuild. RDZ has said it. There will be limited changes, but we will build. RB isn’t an area we will start with.

Oh I agree with that, I don't think he will go, I just want him to.

I think unfortunately it will continue to be a problem area next season and one of the reasons we don't do as well as we should.

I think the evidence on Romero goes way beyond the pitch and I have been very consistent about him.

There is no ambiguity unless you are one or two posters who genuflect at his feet or constantly revert back to one match as the barometer.
No, I think he's got a dreadful attitude and I want him gone as soon as possible.

I was explaining how posters form opinions about players attitudes.

I though Jamaican patois was something y'all were well experienced with?

You would think being in Tottenham they would be aware of it. It’s blindingly obvious some people on here have never set foot in N17 and would fucking wet themselves if they did.

They probably scared of the Turkish kebabs too. They are bit spicy.
My free pie 🥧 on Sunday was of the Balti variety and delish.....funny thing is the supervisor who gave the nod was a ringer for Djed and probably sold the deal when I said " C'mon Djed bout time these fuckers gave us something for nothing after rinsing us for all these years "

FWIW, last time I thought it'd be fun to show the Mrs the area, we got off at seven sisters and she said it was like being in a different country and vowed not to do it again. Even more fun the same day I thought I'd take the scenic route along the river and may or may not have witness some crimes taking place on the industrial estate.

That being said, Djed isn't from the Tottenham area - he just happens to have a Jamaican parentage. Being aware of patois and being fluent in it could be applied to anywhere in the UK
