Player Dominic Solanke

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Sarr has made mistakes because the system is ugly in him he has worked hard and fought for his team. He deserves to have some respect on his name. But do it the other way who have been shocking?
Yes, I forgot about him. Sarr probably just makes the list. I think there's an excellent player there with a new coach.

Shocking:

Werner (by far the worst IMO)
Richie

Not nearly good enough:

Romero
Son
Johnson (decent in first 10 games tho, so maybe this is a bit harsh).
Bissouma
Bentancur
Udogie
Porro
Dragusin

I wouldn't write off that many of our players. They were able to go top of the league last season. Unbeaten for 10 games. They can't all have declined that dramatically in one year due to biological factors.

Possibly our best buy for years.
I had him down for 10 EPL goals this season.
He has already scored 7.
I reckon he will now score 12-14 and next season will be nudging 20.

Oh it's just 12th place-- merely a flesh wound. Everyone can hold their heads up high that many wins were successfully coached.

As for Solanke- thank goodness he left that miserable rat-hole Bournemouth to join the progressive and attacking Tottenham Hotspurs EFFed C.

Got himself his first England cap, earning more - living in London playing in Europe for a much bigger club - looks like he done well for himself...

He's getting paid more than Bournemouth could ever offer him, greater world exposure, more prestige at a way bigger club, an England spot that he likely wouldn't get at Bournemouth, and for now Europa level football that he wouldn't get at Bournemouth.

I'm sure he sleeps nice still

Solanke could turn out to be one of our worst ever signings , not because he is that bad
But because he cost£65m and is always picked.
He is a mediocre - no other top 6 or even top 8 club would buy him.
He has been better than I thought he would be - and is in course for around 12 goals and three assists . Which is not good enough for someone who plays all the time - for a top 6 club.

It might even be better if he was very bad - then he would be dropped.
But being just mediocre - means because of the fee -he will play. Which means for the next couple of years we will have an average player as our main front player. It shows a lack of ambition and judgement .
Buy bottom half players - and you become a bottom half team

That’s just not a logical post at all.

He’s been run completely ragged because his backup (who cost just as much) is injured 100% of the time and there’s literally no one else that’s competent. We’d be even worse without him.

He starts every game because the other options are miles off his level. He’s not going to single-handedly win games like Kane could and you have to accept that he’s a pretty good player and not a superstar.

Hes easily the best all around player in the front 3 most games.

Also easily our most consistent in terms of availability, effort and performance.
