Player Dominic Solanke

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

his goal today shows what happens when you can get the ball in the box. solanke and richy are both very good in the box. its our only chance if we dont have the likes of maddison. get the ball out to porro and get the ball into the box near them 2. simple game and its all we can do.

He's a good player that has had fuck all service all year and done all the fuckjng donkey work that has allowed others to create and score. He's good in the box you just need to get it to him in there.

That finish off the header into the goal mouth was pure strikers instinct! If he can see the play coming there is always a good chance he can beat his CB and turn it in- he has all the speed, strength, size and anticipation you could want for that role!

He's actually MUCH better than the average top 5 league striker, imo. Knows how to take a pen too, and is mentally stable enough not to crash out and fall apart.

I think he'd make a great captain too, next season, after Son and Romero leave. He's physically imposing and metally stable and unquestioned first choice in his position. And hes our pen taker now too...

Needs to learn how to win fouls, times last night when he should have kept the ball and drawn a foul, that would have given players rest& moved team up the field (as Kane used to do for us)

It was a decent goal - but he is still a very limited player - and a major reason we have been so poor this season and such a hard watch.
He would be ok as a squad player - but as an automatic starter you are asking for trouble. Especially if Johnson is also part of the three

Yes - he will get 12/15 pl goals if the team is creating lots of chances - but so would any other mediocre pl striker.
